Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp), an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) works to attract, nurture, and retain the right talent and expertise to support Malaysia’s journey towards achieving greater economic progress. Our efforts to unlock the full potential of the nation’s talent base are driven by strong partnerships with various Ministries, industry stakeholders and learning institutions, focusing on three main pillars: Pipeline, Diversity and Mobility.
Over the last 9 years, we have engaged over 20,000 companies across 18 sectors and 6 regions on talent development measures to ensure emerging talents are equipped with industry-required skills. As more countries continue to feel the transformative effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0), TalentCorp aims to ensure that the Malaysian workforce continues to keep pace with the industries’ demands, to become both locally relevant and globally competitive.
Through our many collaborations, TalentCorp is proud to partner with Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) in the National Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) Industry Blueprint 2021-2030, endorsed by the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) under the Prime Minister’s Department which was developed based on the culmination of a rigorous process of engagements and coordination with various ministries, government agencies, PETRONAS and OGSE industry associations. It seeks to further elevate the resilience and competitiveness of Malaysian OGSE players, promoting long-term sustainability. Under this OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021-2030, TalentCorp has been tasked to lead the Overseas Researcher Outreach Programme and Expert mentorship from ex-OGSE talents.
